Just got a report from Saginaw that the river is opening up and boats being dropped in as we speak. It's simply amazing how fast that fishery can change. Saginaw Bay Update

Well, the 2010 Ice Fishing Vacation School was a success. About 16 students from across Michigan entered the class offered by walleye pros Mark Martin and Mark Brumbaugh. Walleye School

It's that time of year again. The walleye proffesionals are in the Bay area and smackin' the walleye. I called Mark Martin (Twin Lake, MI) and he said it took him less than a half hour to catch his limit Sunday morning. I've got the four wheeler loaded and I'll be on the bay in a couple of hours.
